AI Safety, Security, and Governance

A bank builds a customer-facing assistant on Amazon Bedrock. Compliance requires that the assistant never discusses competitor products and never returns personally identifiable information, and requires evidence that the controls were applied to every request. Which approach meets the requirement with the LEAST custom code?

  • AAdd the restrictions to the system prompt and log every prompt and completion to Amazon S3.
  • BConfigure an Amazon Bedrock guardrail with denied topics and PII filters, attach it to the model invocation, and use its logging.Correct answer
  • CPost-process every completion with a Lambda function that runs regular expressions for competitor names and PII patterns.
  • DFine-tune the foundation model on a dataset that excludes competitor and PII references.

About the AIP exam

How many questions are on the AIP exam?

75 questions in 180 minutes. Only 65 of them affect your score; the other 10 are unscored questions AWS uses to trial new items, and you cannot tell which is which. ReadyForCert papers use the same 75-question, 180-minute format.

What score do I need to pass AIP?

AWS reports a scaled score from 100 to 1,000 and the minimum passing score is 750. The scale is not a straight percentage of questions answered correctly, but it is a higher bar than the Associate exams, which pass at 720.

How is AIP different from the AI Practitioner exam?

AWS Certified AI Practitioner is a foundational exam about AI concepts. AIP is a professional-level developer exam: it assumes you build, secure and operate generative AI applications on AWS, and it passes at 750 over 180 minutes.

Are these the real AIP exam questions?

No. These are practice questions written against the published exam guide. Real exam content is under NDA and AWS rotates its bank, so memorising a leaked dump is the fastest way to fail a refreshed exam. This bank is tagged to the current AIP exam guide.
