MicrosoftAZ-104
AZ-104 tests whether you can run an Azure environment day to day: which role at which scope gives just enough access, how storage accounts, redundancy and SAS tokens behave, how to deploy and resize virtual machines, scale sets, containers and App Service, how peering, NSGs, DNS and load balancers route traffic, and how Azure Monitor and Azure Backup keep it all observable and recoverable. Practise across all five official skill areas with full 50-question papers and a score breakdown per skill area.
Work through the complete question bank by official exam domain, save questions, and revisit incorrect answers.
Take 50-question simulations with a 100-minute timer and saved progress.
Review your score, every answer, and your performance across each exam domain.
Microsoft Entra users, groups, licences, external users and self-service password reset, built-in roles assigned at the right scope, and Azure Policy, resource locks, tags, subscriptions, costs and management groups.
Storage firewalls, SAS tokens, stored access policies and access keys, identity-based access for Azure Files, redundancy, object replication, encryption, AzCopy, file shares, blob tiers, soft delete, snapshots, lifecycle rules and versioning.
ARM templates and Bicep files, virtual machines and their sizes, disks, encryption, availability zones, availability sets and scale sets, Container Registry, Container Instances and Container Apps, and App Service plans, scaling, certificates, custom domains, backups and deployment slots.
Virtual networks, subnets, peering, public IP addresses and user-defined routes, network and application security groups and their effective rules, Azure Bastion, service and private endpoints, Azure DNS and load balancers.
Azure Monitor metrics, logs, KQL queries, alert rules and action groups, Insights, Network Watcher and Connection monitor, Recovery Services and Backup vaults, backup policies, restores and Azure Site Recovery.
One question written for this page, in the same style as the questions in the bank.
Implement and manage virtual networking
VNet1 is peered with VNet2, and VNet2 is peered with VNet3. There is no peering between VNet1 and VNet3, and none of the networks contains a network virtual appliance or a gateway. Can a virtual machine in VNet1 connect to a virtual machine in VNet3?
Microsoft does not publish a fixed question count, but most of its certification exams contain 40 to 60 questions, and AZ-104 gives you 100 minutes to answer them. ReadyForCert papers use 50 questions on the same 100-minute clock.
700 on a scale of 1 to 1,000. The score is scaled rather than a raw percentage of questions answered correctly, so it does not map exactly onto “70% of questions right”.
It helps a lot. AZ-104 is written for administrators who already work with the Azure portal, PowerShell, the Azure CLI and ARM templates or Bicep, and many questions show a portal screen, a command or a template and ask what it does.
No. These are practice questions written against the current Microsoft study guide. Real exam content is covered by Microsoft's exam agreement, and the bank is refreshed regularly.
